Importance of in state recruiting
Gotta agree with ya on this one. I, too, used to wear black and gold when I was younger. Came to campus for a tour and a look into degree programs...left a Cyclone. By the way...zero black and gold in my wardrobe except for our school district colors, which I hate to put on due to the black... -

Why was Wayne Morgan fired?
Very well put! He was a great recruiter but just seemed to lack emotion during games. How many times the camera would go to him when the team was down and he just had that look "puppy dog" look and wouldn't seem to even try to get the guys fired up...almost like he was giving up.- Racer68

Super Bowl Commercials
The Doritos commercial with the snow globe got the biggest laugh at our party. Thank god for DVR...we all missed the Miller High Life commercial. All in all commercials were kind of disappointing. -

Worst officiating ever in a Super Bowl.
I totally agree...kinda makes it look like they just wantd the game to end. Both announcers said it should be reviewed as well. Warner played great but would have had huge odds against him with only 6 seconds left if the call would have been reversed. I think the Arizona DC calls were just...- Racer68

Musty basement
Do you have a relative humidity gauge? When our basement gets a little musty it's a sign that we need to fire up the dehumidifier...generally only in the spring and summer though. -

Hotels and dining in Minneapolis help
I agree on the Hilton...very nice and upscale. Stayed at the Hyatt Regency 2 weeks ago...very nice rooms, nice sports bar on the ground floor. Places to eat: Steak: Manny's. Can be pricey but it is by far the best steak I have ever had. Consistently ranked in the top 10 steakhouses in... -
What have you smuggled into Jack Trice?
We used to get through with full bottles of liquor...early/mid 90's though. And that was back when you could get friends into the student section easily and be the life of the game with the selection in our coats. Cans of beer were even easier. -

Vizio HDTV
I stay in a hotel in the quad cities that uses 26" Vizios in their rooms...it looks great and for the money I would think well worth it. I have used a gaming system on them a few times as well and really haven't given me any reason to bad mouth them. -
