    Colorado Vacation

    I can give five stars to the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park. We are here now, and have been coming back for 20 years. Nice cabins, free mini golf, archery, swimming and you can put kids into day camp to learn to hike, ropes, bouldering etc. Our daughter ended up coming back on her own...

    Lots of stations carry 100% satellite fed ESPN on their AM station. Gets audience, very hard to sell advertising locally.

    Have started Andy Griffith from beginning, love it. Great mini vacation to my airy NC, the town Mayberry was modeled after. Floyd the barber still there and open, Walkers soda fountain, snappy lunch diner and more. Lots of great wineries in area too!

    Interesting quote about uniforms...

    Johnny Majors had alternate helmets for away games, and that was 40 years ago. He wanted to add excitement, and it worked. I think red and gold helmets would both be cool.
