    Never said Adam was perfect or shut any of them down, but in the minutes he was given, the difference in our defense was night and day. Most of those players you listed made their biggest impact when Adam was sitting, especially Berggren and Zeller.

    Woodbury's impact defensively goes far beyond the numbers. He played good position defense and held his own against some of the best big men in the B1G, he is a good communicator on defense, he defends the pick and roll better than any of our big men, his length would bother smaller guards...

    I think you're selling Marble short here, his A/T ratio last year was very good and he did well filling in at PG.

    Marble isn't really that athletic, he makes up for his lack of athleticism with his length. I think that Gesell, May, Olaseni, and Clemmons are all capable athletes.

    If Jok can fully recover from his injury, I'd rather see him start at the 3. Iowa needs someone in the starting lineup who can knock down outside shots consistently and help space the floor.

    I would probably anticipate that they would keep Marble on the floor when Gesell goes to the bench to take some of the pressure off of Anthony to create some offense in the half court. Anthony is a really good defensive player but is not as good on the offensive side.

    You originally pointed out how beating Iowa would help you get better recruits. My point was that most recruits don't care whether you beat Iowa or not. I brought up an example of a player who went to Iowa who had an ISU offer even though ISU beat Iowa.

    KSU is bigger because it's a conference game but Iowa and ISU is the biggest rivalry game for each school and I think fans on both sides would agree.
