Mountain Lion hit near Jefferson, IA on Hwy 30
I had a neighbor lose a horse to (according to the vet) "likely a mountain lion". Kind of a crazy story how it happened, but long story short, he found the horse in a nearby field with slices (claw marks) in it's shoulders and a hunk taken out of it's neck. Tough for a bobcat or coyote to take... -
