    Let me clarify. You're right, Dec 7th is definately not just another day but we do not hold moments of silence on that day and we do not re-live what happened every year on that day. Just wondering how many years have to pass before Sept 11th and Dec 7th are comparible to how the nation acts...

Take UT out of Austin, Oklahoma out of Norman, etc... and they are still very nice cities with a lot of things to do in and around the city.     True, mis-worded it. You are correct, Ames is clean and nice but has nothing to do and that is what I am basing it on. You can say the same things about Manhattan and Waco, hence why thy were ranked lower on my scale.

    Unfortunately I would vote Ames towards the bottom of the list in regards to the other towns. My list would go: 1. Austin 2. Ft Worth 3. Lawrence 4. Norman 5. Stillwater 6. Morgantown 7. Lubbock 8. Ames 9. Waco 10. Manhattan Not the worst but def nothing compared to my top 3...

    New roof and new gutters

    We recently had the CertainTeed Presidential Impact Resistant shingles installed and they have a lifetime warranty and look great. Went with these b/c our HOA allowed these in place of shake and they will hold up better in the weather and look just as good.
