it's the same thing that would happen if you put a pile of lawn feed in one spot. it is nitrogen burning the grass. with the drought, makes it worse. and don't feed your lawn now. wait until september 1st and hopefully by then we'll get some rains and start rejuvenation of the lawns...... -

what temp are you using for your 'extreme cold' choice? i.e. 95 (what it is now) is 9 over normal for right now (average july day time temp in Des Moines is 86). is extreme cold 9 degrees under normal for January? average day time high in january is 29. so that would mean the extreme day... -

has to be done, imo. the first thing i thought of - very hot, close proximity - one might have encouraged another to get in quick and cool off. as far as swimming suit - they are kids, might do something impulsive or in fun. nothing worse could happen to a parent, IMO. -

really? you mean watering trees in drought conditions might save them?? you don't say..... :) nah, the leaves browning up and falling off in july is just indicative of 'going dormant'.....:confused: -

agree. the idea is to pass kids, keep them in school, and keep cashing the government paycheck by doing so. it's a system problem.
