What did they do to the sound system yesterday?
It sounds as if they must have made some changes.... sounds like many of the sections it improved.. and the Northwest corner (sections 2 and 3) it is now to the point we cannot understand the announcers.... I hope they get the message and make some more changes... -

We sit in section 2 and the sound is normally great. The sirens, weather alert, smoke on the water were barely heard, and we couldn't understand/hear the officials at all. The new system has been so loud and clear up until yesterday...... it sounded worse than the old system. I hope this was... -

:smile: Thanks.... My good friend owns the dealership and when I bought the truck he offered to pinstripe it and put on the "Iowa State Edition" logos... The we started adding flags, headrests covers, license plates etc. its been a lot of fun. Living over here in Eastern Iowa... it really...- CYTruck

Parking problems
my neighbor parks in front of the Carver Basketball arena. He said he pays 2500 to be on the list for that parking spot. not to mention what he pays to get his game tickets... These guys have thousands invested just for the parking.. and they are no closer than us in C4 and surrounding area. -

Mine did not come in today either.. so.. . I called over and talked with people I know in the ticket office.... There are still many packets still sitting on their tables to be shipped out and they have been going out in waves... They looked mine up and found them on the table and said they... -

lol.... Hadn't noticed that.... just 2 construction workers.... but unfortunate timing on the picture.... Haven't heard what kind of access there will be after hours.. most likely some sort of gated/controlled access. I was also looking at the big screen towers.. and they look as if they... -

I grabbed mine yesterday (Tues) and today they had all been removed... But I am guessing they are all in a pile somewhere with the maintenance department. Probably wouldn't take long to find out who was replacing the signs... ISU or some contractor. -
Parking lot signs
I thought I would pass this on. I was at the field yesterday and they were taking down the old parking lot signs. Nice new color ones with the logo were being installed. The gentleman on the truck said they were going to throw away the old ones. I asked for and got the signs from our tailgating... -

field pictures from this morning. I was in Ames with my youngest 2 kids attending orientation. While they were busy we went down to the field and took some pictures. They were replacing the parking lot signs and the guy taking them down said I could have the old ones from C4 where we tailgate...
