    Spot on!! Trying to limit possessions when you keep having a top defense makes no sense. Then you are limiting your offense. Again makes no sense. Play to the strengths and play chess against the opponents defense. Stop play calling from a script. Let the offense be an offense.

    That’s why I think you play to the offensive strengths and stop forcing plays that aren’t. Manning before Texas game tries to do 16-20 play drives. That isn’t the team strength plus you have a stellar defense. Keep scoring and the defense will do it’s job.

    I would guess Manning will leave for a year somewhere. Want to come back and once again we lose what would be a better oc because we let Manning have his job back. Nate leaves and gets promoted else where as an oc. That sounds about right.

    Iowa State had their chance to promote him. Instead they took Manning back after his one year with the colts. Golesh said see you later off to ucf I go to be oc for a year.

    Manning has had talent save him year in and year out plus great defenses. He has always been predictable and has always sucked.

    Everyone sticking up for manning saying this has been the highest ranking offense Iowa state has had over the years. He has also had the most talent. Butler, Lazard, Montgomery, purdy, hall, kolar, Allen, etc. He has done less with more.

    Thank you! The running routes in the same depth of the field is horrible. Talk about 5-9 players all in the same area. Such a joke.
