The Charge (no call) ...instead blocking foul on ISU

If you're talking about Hogue's foul late in the game, on the replay it appeared that his left foot was inside the restricted zone, though it was difficult to tell.

    Thomas

You can tell the lack of experience is currently holding him back. However, the talent is obvious, and playing an important role in a very tough road win is a great early game for a freshman.

Leading rebounder: point guard. Assist leader: big man

Kane is no mere point guard.

Iowa fans in meltdown over our win vs BYU!

I wish fans would stop making such a big deal about Ejim's middle finger or Kane's flagrant foul just because those players play on a team they don't like.

    ****Official ISU/BYU Gameday Thread****

Lazy defense and bad shot selection leads to this ********.

We did not deserve to win

Well yes. Our team lost the game. The refs did us no favors, but after a certain point I would really love the team to start realizing what is being called and for the defense to not give them a chance to run it in (or *ahem* fumble) at the one yard line.

Mamas don't let your babies enroll at Iowa

Too bad I went to college to study, not meet chicks with daddy issues.

    Rutgers Coach

You can't seriously think this is ok. Just because "that's the way it is" in America with a lot of coaches doesn't mean it's acceptable. I know the whole "what if this was your son" is a cliche, but seriously think about it. Nobody should have to take this kind of degrading behavior from their...

    How annoying is the band?

They're not "required" to do anything. They're in the band because they enjoy watching our team, obviously more than most fans because you don't see them complaining about something minor in the stadium. Also the people in marching band or "football band" as you call it enjoy being at the games...

    How annoying is the band?

Why? They're having fun. Is this game total of 60 seconds of chants per game so offensive to you(not you particularly, but to the general annoyed fan) that it needs to be talked about so much? Personally, I'm tired of seeing kids dressed up in stupid costumes at games. All they do is draw...

    How annoying is the band?

Why are our fans so awful? I'm tired of these fans who nitpick and have nothing to complain about but the officials and the band. They've got nothing but positive reviews from reporters and TV personalities. It's either the chants or dead silence during free throws. If you don't like it, realize...

    A successful year.

I think the biggest positive of this season was the emergence of Georges Niang.

The NIT is doing "more" in what way?

    Dear Iowa fans,

But watch out, their players are developing and should be up to average by next year.

Yahoo: Hoiberg coveted coaching candidate for NBA

Why would he go to coach in the NBA? What can the NBA offer him over his supposed dream job besides money, something I'm sure he has plenty of over is career between playing for ISU and coaching here?

    A successful year.

What defines a successful year for Iowa State? Would just getting into the tournament have been a successful year? The season may have ended in heartbreak, but this is the second year in a row that Fred has obliterated preseason expectations of many, and proved that last year was not a fluke...

    Big 12 in NCAA

How are you not trying to start something? If you're not trying to start something, you'd post this on some Hok site in between predicting your next opponent apathetically in the JV tourney. Jebus, some little brother fans are pathetic.

NFL: Chicago Bears, Brian Urlacher part ways

All this means is that Urlacher had no real intention on finishing his career with the Bears. If he really wanted to, the money wouldn't have mattered. And why should it? How cash strapped could he possibly be?
