    This could all be true. The team COULD be sending out reports that a player is sick to build momentum when he plays. This doesn't seem to be true, however.

    I just checked ESPN this morning to view the shots, and I only counted 23 shot attempts during that time. I must have missed some, but 85% is absolutely ridiculous.

    In the past 5 games, all wins, Iowa State is shooting 12-14 from inside the arc and 8-9 from outside, good for 87% overall in the last 5 minutes of each game. Wow. Fred keeps them cold-blooded late in games. Just shows what a well coached team of experienced and mature players can do.

    Truly believe the team can pick up the slack. UNC struggled against Providence, and I think Iowa State can still win.

    Don't really think this game has much to do with Iowa's team as a whole this year. Teams at home sometimes shoot lights out, and those teams win. It's kindof the college basketball thing. While I enjoy a good Hawkeye meltdown, the sky isn't falling down for that team.
