    UNL's QB to transfer

Yea that is the real knock on Lee, is he is injury prone. I think he can definitely be a decent Big 12 QB, but because of injuries he has sort of flown below expectations (like posted before). This leaves UNL with a few less options at QB, but I don't think it really sets them back that much...

    UNL's QB to transfer

I think most Husker fans have all of their hopes resting on Cody Green. They are really pumped about him. So they will spin it to where Patrick Witt really didn't matter. So this could mean they are running with a true freshman QB next year. Him or Lee, who has really fallen under expectations.

    UNI to drop baseball

Well that sucks! I had a buddy play a couple of years of baseball at UNI before transferring to Iowa and blowing out his shoulder.

    DC Hired - No Joke!

This is for defensive coordinator though not for head coach. Gene Chizik as defensive coordinator may have been a different story. Love good ole' Grandpa Wally. Hopefully he sticks around for some time can teach our young coaches some new things and can groom one of them for DC once he does...

Fizer or Brackins, who the better player during Sophomore Year

Brackins is 6'10 and has an outside game and inside game. Draft Express makes a good point about how he needs to get better when people double team him. That is one thing he is really bad at right now. He definitely has some things to do before next season to take it to the next level.

Fizer or Brackins, who the better player during Sophomore Year

Good point. It will be interesting too see the level Brackins plays at next season. I actually think Brackins has a place in the NBA, as well. Fizer was too much of a tweener in the NBA. Played well, but at 6'8 and 260, he was the size of a small forward and had the body of a power forward and...

Fizer or Brackins, who the better player during Sophomore Year

No way Fizer was only 6'5, he might have been 6'7 in reality, but not 6'5. I think your friend measured himself in high school and just stuck to the fact that he was 6'6 and never realized he grew!!

    Scott Fountain to Auburn?

Football Scoop is saying that Chizik finished his staff by hiring Tommy Thigpen as safeties coach. Former Director of NFL Relations, Phillip Lolley is going to coach corners. So the only possible job that leaves for Scott Fountain is Director of NFL Relations. They also say that Curtis Luper...

Fizer or Brackins, who the better player during Sophomore Year

He does seem to have a little more of a gut as a sophomore and is definitely a lot slimmer. His muscle definition doesn't seem to drastically different from the two pictures.

Fizer or Brackins, who the better player during Sophomore Year

The first pic is from Winter 1998, the second one from Spring 2000. Here you go.

Fizer or Brackins, who the better player during Sophomore Year

Fizer was definitely not 6'5. He was 6'8. I would say overall Brackins is the better player (AS A SOPHOMORE). Junior-wise, still to be determined!!!

Fizer or Brackins, who the better player during Sophomore Year

I still say this team reminds me a lot of 1998-99. Who would have thought we would do anything like we did in 1999-00 following 1998-99. We knew we had one stud and a couple of role players. It took bringing in a couple of highly touted players into the fold. I am not saying we have a Tinsley or...

Fizer or Brackins, who the better player during Sophomore Year

Statistically they are pretty damn similar. Fizer 18.0 7.6 Brackins- 19.7 9.1 Going by stats only you would have to say Brackins. I think it is a tough one to say who was better because we are biased because we know where Fizer ended up, so we automatically assume he is the better player. I...

    Walk ons to ISU....

I wouldn't be surprised to see Bill take on a walk-on next year, who knows. The thing with women's basketball is that they have a practice squad full of guys so walk-ons aren't maybe as necessary as for men's basketball who also only have one true walk-on at this time.

    Walk ons to ISU....

He has had several walk-ons, the last one being last year with Brittany Lange. Lange is now a manager. Before that he had Abby Reinert and before that Kandice Beenken. Right now he really isn't in need of any walk-ons with the scholarship depth he has at this point.

    Alexander Robinson

Herman has said that his offense will always be tailored to the players he has. We will run more here than Rice did. We have better backs here. The strength at Rice was QB and WR.

    Alexander Robinson

I fully expect AROB to start the whole season, but Bo will play a lot. I don't see Bo starting more than one game, but he WILL play.

Also a guy with Big 12 experience at Oklahoma and has coached with some really good offensive coaches like Long and Leach.

    MAMA- where is the DC?

Again, the D.C. is somewhere in between Maryland and Virginia.
