    It didn’t start out like that, but when he explains why they won’t be doing it and people continue to throw a fit, I have no problem with him explaining it like he’s talking to toddlers. I just don’t think the facility has the infrastructure to do it. They already struggle with concession lines...

    3 out of 4 years isn’t bad. I don’t see what the big deal is. Kansas State has made a habit of beating us down pretty good the last 30-ish years. I’d just as soon play someone that might be easier to beat. Once the streak of playing them is over, what’s the point of playing them every year anyway.

    True, a lot of the best players and coaches have some of this in them. Knight a little more than others, but guys like this are wired differently. Eustachy, from what I understand, was very similar.

    I haven’t read the book, but Leach lasted longer than Knight so I don’t know how that’s possible. Knight may have been part of the reason Leach was let go, it was probably more towards the (now unfounded) abuse accusations that seemed similar to Knight.

    The better question is why the schools aren’t paying them. Why pretend this is any different than a minor league system for NBA and NFL and just move to a full pro model.

    The fact that one loss takes you out of contention for a championship is a reason I like NFL more than CFB. Playoff system will help, but college football is the only major sport where you can’t play your way back from a slow start to a season.

    NFL is a far superior product. I could watch any NFL game at any time. I can’t do that with CFB

    Semantics are why Iowa fans can’t figure it out. Be part of the solution, not the problem. Very few penalties in the field of play can be reviewed. That is why it is important to note it is invalid, not illegal.
