    How can you say the game has passed him by when he was in the final 4 just 3 years ago? And he's made the tournament every year at WV. Even Roy Williams misses a tournament every now and than at UNC which is a much easier job. I don't like Huggins but you can't question his job as a coach...

    I'm sure you are wrong. The reason is clear, he's not good enough. If he was good enough, he would redshirt or play. We don't need him for depth. He hasn't played in a month. He's simply not redshirting b/c you don't redshirt a guy who you don't think can help you in 4 years. Evidence...

    Xboxfever is right. There is a reason SDW redshirted this year while Sledge didn't last year and Okoro didn't this year. You don't redshirt guys who you don't think can really ever help you win. Don't be surprised to see Okoro leave after this season like Sledge did.

    Jon N was an embarrassment to Iowa State fans. I'll never forget when Gene Chizik started 0-2 his first year at Iowa State and Jon (who partially owned CN at the time) was on the local radio shows says Iowa State would win out and go 10-2. This was after they had lost to UNI and Kent State!

    No. Knott is faster, better in pass coverage, and a better prospect.....when healthy.

    He was tied for 72nd in average punt this year. His net average was better at 25th but still not elite. He's good at pooch punting but he doesn't have a booming NFL leg. His punts have gotten worse each year

    Ernst has been solid. (I'd argue it's more on his god given talent, seeing as his blocking has been poor) But before Ernst the TE's were awful last year and the WR's were awful the 2 years before that. Is that all on Wells? No. But there is a reason he went from WR's to TE's and it wasn't...
