    Tickets for Iowa game--Sold out?

    I was just on Cyclones.com trying to get some extra tickets for the Iowa game as a season ticket holder. After trying for 15 minutes, I received a message that there weren't any tickets available. Not surprising I guess but thought it would eventually get to the general public for purchase.

    If you could go back...

    Needed my degree to get my first job but could have done any of my jobs without ever having stepped foot on campus. I would go back in a freakin' heartbeat--so much more to college than the formal education.

    Wife and I flying from KC to Tampa on the 25th, spending most of the 26th at the beach then driving to Orlando. Staying at Hyatt Regency, driving back to Tampa late the 28th for early morning flight the 29th. Let's do this!

    As I thought about it, I realized I didn't make my normal 3-4 trips to refill during that game which might explain the headache I had later. :)

    I think the new parking will be east of those fields but I could be wrong. I bet they wish they had never started the intramural field upgrades now (assuming the new plan gets funded).

    Very rainy all Fall and Ames received 3-4 inches of snow early Monday morning. As it very slowly melts, it's just going to add to the misery of muddy/greasy grass parking lots.

    To a certain extent, sure. Would you be surprised that there was already water standing in the grass areas yesterday afternoon at the corner of S 4th and University? That is probably the worst draining area but I think people under estimate how poorly the entire area around the stadium drains.
