As far as your "minimum flow" comment, the very first thing I did in both of my last two homes was remove the water restrictor washers from my shower heads so I would get a full pressure shower (I hate weakass showers). Even doing this I NEVER had a problem with low-flow conditions with a...
100% go tankless! BUT... I have one cautionary tale. Be sure that it's rated for your climate. I've had tankless on my last two homes (both new construction). The amazing thing w/ tankless is the gas bill is so low by comparison to traditional water heaters. And the constant hot water is...
Not sure what your point is here. How do you know that there is no "committment" from those schools? Is it their record? If so, then why didn't you list Purdue, Wake Forest, Colorado, Kansas, Iowa State, etc?
My wife and I picked up colds while traveling these past few days. I have a cough that feels like I’m getting stabbed in the chest. She has the runny nose and sore throat. I don’t know what to do since we’re sick at the same time. Nobody to listen to me whine.
Yyyeeeaaahhhh… the NCAA has such a great track record of policing boosters LOLOLOL! The SEC and OU/UT would not be where they are today if the NCAA knew how to watchdog the cheaters.
Even if a cap gets put in place there will be ways around it - just like the NFL. Players like coming to Dallas because outside of the cap they’re on every local commercial. Like Jerry says, if you’re not doubling your salary simply by being in his orbit then that’s on you.
Guess what was in my mailbox here in Dallas, TX today! And that ornament is substantial!!! I expected it was a simple cardboard piece, but that thing is damn near heirloom quality! I want one every year now!
FSU got completely FU**ED. The only way to remove the SEC-bias is to eliminate a committee. Put rules in place that say "conference champion gets in" or "top 3 conference spots get in". Otherwise we will forever see the BS we saw this year.
Schools winning at high levels in football and basketball help their enrollment as well. Baylor and TCU are prime examples of this in our own conference. (increase of 7 - 8%, known as the Flutie effect)
Exactly. Simply point to Washington State and Oregon State. I think that example should shock everyone. Especially when a Stanford was taken over them.
I don't think I would either. But if ESPN and Fox own the super league, would other networks carry the left-behinds? I'm wondering how that might work out. It'd be funny if it blew up ESPN/Fox.
Fine. Then raise the prices on basketball games too, and kick in from TV contracts. Point being, it is attainable and not really that much more expensive.
And save money by cutting baseball! Oh... wait.
If my math is correct that would add $8.33/ ticket to pay for $30,000/kid for 100 kids?
60,000 seats
6 home games
100 athletes
$30,000/ athlete
$30,000x100=$3,000,000
$3,000,000/360,000=$8.333333
The NCAA has given up. It's clear they haven't really cared about academics for years (otherwise the SEC wouldn't exist). So this is the obvious next step for them to abdicate any authority.
