Here comes the doomsday thread, sorry

By not including the Big12 I totally agree. By trying to make policies that can actually be enforced instead of whatever it is the NCAA is trying to do might actually benefit college sports. The problem is anything will obv be skewed towards helping the conferences with the most money which is...

Here comes the doomsday thread, sorry

Sigh, this isn’t a money grab at this point, it’s trying to put rules/policy’s in place that can be regulated since the NCAA can’t do anything. There also isn’t a P5 any more and their really isn’t a P4, it’s just a P3, I’m a little annoyed the Big12 is left out but that is 100% arrogance

Here comes the doomsday thread, sorry

Nah it would be a voice without a vote probably, I don’t like it but that’s what it would be. There’s zero talk about breaking out a P2 and the big ten and SEC have plenty of teams in the lower echelon that will have a voice with power

Here comes the doomsday thread, sorry

That isn’t even remotely what this is about. It’s about the NCAA being absolutely useless and rewriting the policies around NIL, transferring and recruiting. Everyone knows the ratings would drop that’s why their isn’t a real push for P2

Here comes the doomsday thread, sorry

I didn’t say divide power, I said invite to the table to have a voice. Really I only hope the Big12 gets the invite as everyone knows the ACC is one successful lawsuit away from dissolving

Here comes the doomsday thread, sorry

This is in direct response to the NIL lawsuits going on. Most AD’s are expecting the NCAA to lose which makes them as a governing body even more useless. This is in the super early stages and while it shouldn’t develop into a P2 situation there is a good/decent chance that they will be pushing...

Ole Miss AD finances (WBB is shocking)

Well, one sport makes all the money and the other sport only loses money so it’s not that surprising

The SEC has geographical advantages in baseball and softball so that isn’t a surprise. Let’s see the SEC without saban in football. No reason Big12 can’t stay up on basketball. Money isn’t everything, big ten has always made more money than the SEC and have far less to show for it.

NIL has nothing to do with the school and don’t believe 99% of the NIL numbers you hear.

Ole Miss AD finances (WBB is shocking)

Nope not for schools that receive federal funds, this could be challenged but that’s what is going to kill college athletics. Paying players would have to be evenly split which is going to lead to lawsuits and a ton of issues. Say goodbye to all Olympic sports at the P4 level unless there is a...

That’s why making athletes employees will shutter 90% of all college sports

The lineups this year have been maddening, Izzo is starting to catch a lot of heat from the fans. If we get in at this point it’s on name only nothing to do with this season unless somehow that Baylor win carrys a ton of weight.

    Chiefs watch party deaths

That’s the exact reason why we are seeing so many overdoses. Seriously everyone should know where Narcan/naloxone are both at home and at work. You can save someone’s life

    Chiefs watch party deaths

Totally agree. It’s super shady. Another good reason why everyone should have Narcan in their car and at their home. You can get it for free and it’s extremely easy to use. If you’re right about an OD it can easily save a life with virtually zero negative side effects

Fentanyl by itself is extremely cheap, because it comes in so many forms it is more approachable than a wide variety of other substances. Patches, lozenges, injectables, tabs, sprays, makes it very easy to get people hooked and doesn’t often come with the typical drug paraphernalia. Also for...
