    Hawks will win their share of big ten games, the top of that league is weaker than normal. As bad as they are, Iowa is a middle of the road big ten team.

    Not sure why sitting out is seen as such a terrible thing. It's helped a ton of players get better and get to the next level. It'll be interesting to see how the loosened rules impact graduation rates over the next few years.

    A couple of Iowa's players are in over their heads trying to play defense against p5 competition. Harding fouled every single time on that end, all he can do is grab and hold and that still didn't help much. This could be Frans worst defensive team at Iowa

    Need and could use are two different situations. We got by last year playing multiple guys on defense who probably weren't big 12 players. I would say both positions we handed out scholarships to were spots we should be trying to upgrade.

    So 3 kids entered the portal less than 24 hours after he made these comments....wonder if he already knew about them leaving and maybe they just made it public today. Definitely takes a bit of the steam out of his comments.

    What a humbling year for FSU, they were bumped to the bottom of the tv money pecking order and now left out of the cfp. If you thought they were making a fuss about leaving the acc before, you haven't seen anything yet. This was extremely damaging to the future of the acc.

    It'll be interesting to see what realignment does to the bowl system. The p4 got stronger, the g5 is even weaker than before but bowl eligibility hasn't changed. Do they not matter enough to make a change? Will any teams do?

    2:30 Friday afternoon kickoff against an AAC opponent we just played a few years ago...yuck. Not as bad as the Tulsa rematch but not a ton to get excited about. I guess the extra practices will be nice. Sucks to have to play road games at two g5 school in one season.

    85000 people in Arlington today, the 61k they got in Vegas last night is lower than any big title game at Jerry World(excluding COVID year). That was a top 5 matchup with two cfp contenders and the leagues best brands.
