    I do believe the last time Iowa won a conference title outright while playing every opponent in their conference was 1896, so regardless how hawk fans want to spin it, winning the regular season outright while playing EVERYONE is kind of a big deal.

    For some stupid reason, I went over to hawkeye nation. They are out-douching themselves over our championship. I suppose when the lot of them haven't had female interaction for years, they lash out at everything.

    If you are thinking of NCAA sanctions, that would be Criner, but no, his chumminess with a hawkeye heavy board of regents led Iowa State to be an afterthought when it came to funding. Neither team was even close to self reliability then.
