    Laparoscopy

    I had laproscopic hernia surgery last year. It was done on Dec. 4 and I went skiing in Colorado on Dec. 27 with no problems. The doctors won't promise anything but they're pretty conservative in their recovery time. Good luck!

    Office Chair question

    I totally agree that's a lot for an office chair. But HM Aeron list price is almost identical to Allsteel Acuity. Office furniture is a stange market where list price means something like double the actual price. Check with a dealer and I'm sure the actual price would be much more appealing.

    I'd suggest an Allsteel chair, particularly #19, Acuity, Relate, or Sum. Aeron is fairly old (15 years since introdution) and the Allsteel chairs are equal or better. Plus you'd be supporting an Iowa based company (HNI or Hon) and a lot of ISU grads (myself included :smile:). Let me know if...

    tailgating tent on asphalt

    You guys aren't thinking outside the box enough. The absolute best way to stake to asphalt is 4 multipurpose screws. Bring your cordless drill and it's a piece of cake. Weights are way too much trouble (and expensive).

    I went to the gamewatch Saturday in Bettendorf and there was a really good turnout. Probably 5 to 1 or better in favor of the good guys. The name of the bar and grill is Uptown located behind Happy Joe's on Spruce Hills Drive. I don't think there's an official gamewatch for this week but...
