    Recruiting from a Utah perspective..

True, but very many of those are "Jack Mormons" meaning they drink party etc... and often the mission is to appease the parents, so they continue to pay for school & everything. Maybe 15-20% of the student body is actively Mormon... most don't advertise it since they make Zoobie (Mormon)...

    Tailgating at OU

Be sure to bring your... YOU'RE NO UTAH!!!! signs... that will really get under their skins!!:biglaugh:

    Recruiting from a Utah perspective..

Both... BYU only won their last game due to a corrupt officiating crew that has since been suspended from the conference. USU only lost by 7 to Oklahoma. Either OU is bad this year or USU is better than you thought or BOTH.

    Recruiting from a Utah perspective..

Great!!! You can use your winnings to bid on Shaky Smithson's jersey!! Utah will be wearing their Wounded Warrior uniforms for the game vs TCU, which will be auctioned off for injured soldiers of our Armed Forces after the game. How can you pass up that?!?

Man.. and here I thought we had great drugs at the U. You could have been better hosts and at least shared..

    Recruiting from a Utah perspective..

If both teams are undefeated we are expecting ESPN Gameday... Utah currently has a 21 game home steak thanks mostly to the MUSS (Mighty Utah Student Section), those guys are nuts... Expect home field to be the deciding factor, so Utah by 5 (that's a old traditional prediction from our BB glory...

    Realistic Thoughts on 3-3....

As a fan don't you have to look at the bright spots?? I was happy Cyclones were predicting upset and as a True Ute Fan I predicted a much closer outcome... say Utah by 11. Still respect your opponents, but never stop believing your team has a chance to win.

An Honest Question: what happened to us?

Actually, they squeaked by Cincy by 2... Air Force by 3 and Utah State by 7... And people wonder why we question the Big XII conference strength this year.

    Realistic Thoughts on 3-3....

OU - squeaked by Cincy by2, Air Force by 3 and Utah State by 7. I'd say they are beatable if they underestimate you or don't shake off the rust before halftime. UT - demolished @Austin by UCLA ranked 6-8th in the PAC-10 with USC and Arizona St:wideeyed: NU - Struggled with S. Dakota...

    Recruiting from a Utah perspective..

First the quotes that deserve mention... Another thing to look at is what Coach Whitt does with the talent... He typically recruits 2-3 QBs a year and turns them into defensive stars. LB Chad Manis former QB, DB Brian Blechen former QB.... you think these guys know how to read a quarterback...

LISTEN: Paul Rhoads' 10-11 press conference

Not making any promises but... Squeaking by Cincy by 2... Air Force by 3 and Utah State by 7... Have to like those odds better than against a team that regularly puts in their 2nd & 3rd string the 3rd or 4th quarter...

LISTEN: Paul Rhoads' 10-11 press conference

"You can't coach speed, you have to recruit it.." That might seem like an obvious statement, but I think it speaks volumes about Coach Rhoads' grasp of fundamentals and his vision of future recruiting... Sounds like a coach that can work the same magic that Coach Whitt has done with 2-3 star...

    HURRY UP OFFENSE ???

In all fairness... It was a no huddle offense that put up 31 points in the second quarter. I think it's more about how it's executed... I could be wrong.
