    Damned if you do, damned if you don't. If you list 43,000 as the capacity, that makes our stadium seem pretty small and crappy compared with the rest of the conference.

    Umm...there's really not much our athletic department can fo about it. It's not "jib-jab" when they talk about why it can't be televised. It's the truth. If you want to raise hell, call the Big 12.

    Basically, a conference game can't be covered on any TV outlet other than one contracted through the Big 12, and the Big 12 doesn't have enough contract spots to cover every game.

    The more I think about it, Bobber's right that we probably won't get the respect we deserve. We probably should be a slight underdog (a field goal or less), which means we'll probably be closer to 7 or 10 point dogs.

    True, but turnovers are still part of the game. I love the argument "we would have won if..." Sure, Nebraska could have won if they hadn't turned the ball over eight times. But guess what, Huskers? You did turn the ball over eight times, and you lost.

    ISU vs. Nebraska: TV/Directv Question...

    It ought to be on either 665 or 666. The former is Comcast Sportsnet Chicago's regular feed. The latter is the alternate feed, which sometimes shows FSN's college games when something else is on the regular feed (like a pro sports game of some kind). The ISU/Iowa game ended up on 666.

    Ditto. And I agree about finding an agent you trust or getting a referral from friends or family. Our State Farm agent used to work with my grandmother. Our Progressive agent is a family friend.
