Help! I'm Fat - *** Official Exercise and Weight Thread ***

Damn it, motivated by bannedman today. Haha. I was actually on the fence about getting a run in tonight when I clicked on this thread.

NBA: ***2022-2023 NBA season, post season, and offseason***

He definitely had the it's just a game vibe. Doesn't appear to have to have that "chip" on his shoulder to motivate his performance like we see from so many American athletes. Maybe not growing up in our sports media world has helped with that persona. He truly doesn't seem to care about the MVP...

Agreed. He did look exhausted in that 4th quarter.

What TV show are you streaming right now?

Have only looked at the past 4 pages, so SIAP but A Small Light on Disney is really well done. It’s heavy since you know the final outcome. I’m also enjoying Silo on AppleTV. I’m being converted to a Sci-Fi fan.

It hurts to see him in Monte’s #11 while also being what they’ve needed off the bench.

Great point on Bones! It’s crazy how much potential he had as a rookie then was a liability for a championship caliber team.

With MPJ and Murray coming back they needed guards that could defend. They shipped Barton and Monte and got KCP and Ish Smith back. They really wanted KCP's defense, but his offense also ended up better than expected. It's probably the Jokic effect getting him clean looks. Edit: I think it was...

MPJ was also out most of last year, I think he only played the first 10 games or so. It was amazing that the pundits never gave the Nuggets much credit doing what they did without 2 of their top 3 scorers.

Next year is the final year of his 3 yr contract (he'll earn $9.8). I would think he'll trade bait with the expiring deal.

Abu Sama named Gatorade Iowa Player of the Year

That's awesome! I have a kid that is in the youth club track circuit now, and I'm really impressed with the culture and talent in the Iowa clubs. It seems like that will payoff at the high school level.

It really sucks that Monte didn't have Murray for the past 2 playoff runs. When he was healthy they almost beat the Lakers in the bubble to get to the finals, but Davis hit that buzzer beater of a 3.

Just like Steph changed the game for the 3 pt shot, I think you are starting to see more people try to pass like Jokic. I'm seeing more bigs trying to hit the back door cutter now, and that is from seeing Jokic do it so effectively the past 4 years. The windows he finds are amazing and his...

NBA: Cyclones in the pros 2021-23 (hoops)

Any thoughts on where Georges will land next season? He's had a good run pairing up with the athletic 5s like Gobert and Embiid to make up for his defensive/rebounding short comings. Maybe Milwaukee gives him a shot, I see that Jae Crowder's contract is up this year.
