    36,660 at Iowa State

Michigan (and Illinois, and Texas and UCLA, etc..) can be more selective when they have WAY more kids applying.

Both downtown DSM and metro continue to roll

The data comes from census.gov. It is a list of comparable cities. Nothing in Iowa is coming close to Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, etc...

    Timbers (Cyclone?) Army

Doesn't change the fact they have all male yell leaders dressed in white looking like jackasses.

    Timbers (Cyclone?) Army

Texas A&M does this and most people think they look like idiots.

Only 3 Top 100 Cities have all 3 of these desired qualities ( DSM if one of them)

Oceans, large lakes, mountains, hills, or just a change of scenery.

Only 3 Top 100 Cities have all 3 of these desired qualities ( DSM if one of them)

My biggest problem with DM, KC, OMA, etc. is the complete lack of day trip options. You could drive 3 hours in any direction and you are essentially still in a cornfield, or maybe a river valley. And the LONG cold winters. Other than those, DM is a great little town.

One Dead in I-35 Accident near Ankeny

Engineers could probably develop cars to "take over" when odd driving behavior is sensed.

Better City: New York or Chicago?

I agree with a lot of this. I've lived in Chicago for 13 years and visited NYC and LA multiple times. I was surprised how much I liked LA. I love NYC but the cost of living deters me from ever moving there. For me: Weather 1. LA 2. NYC 2365. Chicago City Living Livability 1. Chicago 2...

    Campustown Redevelopment

That doesn't mean it is not safe. Businesses will put their waste/trash in the trash cans. Same thing is done in downtown/business districts all over the country. There should be more higher floor count/high density building near campuses. More efficient use of land.

    Dykstra to Miami

The U is a private school. Good for this kid to go out of state. Miami is a great school. I wish I had tried to go out of state. A lot of the college costs you see advertised aren't what students actually end up paying. Glad Dykstra didn't go to that ***** hole to the west.

    2016 NBA Draft

Towns, Wiggins and Hield would be a really solid young core.

Chicago Tribune Article on Fred & The Bulls

I agree with the video where he said Fred didn't start out on the right footing by bringing Noah off the bench. That was stupid. He's been an all star and vocal leader of the Bulls. Bulls have had a lot of injuries this year but Fred's substitution patterns have been real head scratchers.

The Bulls are still paying Thibs. I bet Fred has a minimum of 3 years to right the ship.

ISU made the sweet sixteen. How is that a cluster? What Drew walked into at Baylor was a cluster.

Chicago Tribune Article on Fred & The Bulls

This doesn't sound believable at all. I highly doubt he talks to ISU donors unless they are family friends. Why is it a cluster for ISU? Edit: If you are being sarcastic, i clearly missed it.

Chicago Tribune Article on Fred & The Bulls

He also doesn't have to recruit and attend fund raising events during the off season. The Bulls job is one of the top 4 in all of basketball (Lakers, Knicks, Celtics, Bulls). If your ultimate goal is coaching in the NBA then you don't pass the Bulls job up, especially with $25 Million...

Chicago Tribune Article on Fred & The Bulls

Fred did hire the defensive specialist from the Spurs. This Bulls team just isn't good.

Chicago Tribune Article on Fred & The Bulls

Bulls fan and Chicago resident here. I don't think many expected a title. Management didn't do anything with the roster over the off season. It is the blown leads, playing down to bad teams, playing up to good teams and just bad basketball that bothers people (surprisingly, the Thunder lead the...

    So long, Oddfellows

That is Ribs thing, attack people who don't like Ames things or he disagrees with. Don't take it personal. Also, Hickory Park food isn't very good and neither is the atmosphere. Also, also, restaurants in Iowa need to figure out how to make a quality french fry.
