    Any P90X Users?

I had a similar issue with my knee (no cartilage on the right side and ACL reconstruction about 6 years ago) and this program was one of the reasons I wanted to use it. Running is not recommended for me, I like to bike but don't have all the equipment needed in inclement weather so I really...

    Any P90X Users?

For me..... - I went form 180 to 160lbs - BF I didn't track - Pull up rep went from 6 to 16 - Push up increase went from 40 to 65+ I've never maxed out at the end. Did all of that in 90 days, cut out the junk food but ate all the time and was never hungry. I'm on round 2 getting...

    Any P90X Users?

Man that sucks. Did you do it during a work out or doing something else? Glad to see you're trying to work through it by doing some of the workouts. What's the prognosis on your knee? Surgery or rest?

    Any P90X Users?

I have not. I finished the 1st 90 days just over a month ago and figured I'd do at least another 90 before I bumped up to the P90x +. I've read some reviews of it and it's not as well done as P90x. The one thing I did change was backing down on 92min of Yoga. My wife bought a couple of DVD's...

    New Construction Homes

Nope, why do you ask? I did a ton of research when looking at folks to build our house and Strahan sold me as much on their approach and the way they run their business as anything. It also didn't hurt that most of the folks supervising the work and running the business were all...

    New Construction Homes

We went with Strahan Construction in Ankeny. They build a very good house, run a very good business and live in the same community they build in. That takes some confidence to live along with everyone you just built a house for. We're in the Camden Woods area and love it. strahan communities...

    Any P90X Users?

Just thought I'd check to see if everyone is still at it? I'm now in my 2nd week of round 2 and yes I'm still sore. Not near as bad as the 1st couple of weeks. I'm very happy with the 1st 90 days and interested to see how the next 90 go. I've upped my cals on the diet so we'll see if that...

    Working Out

P90x. Round 1 complete and didn't miss a day of workouts for 90+ days. When lifting weights and doing cardio I was lucky to get 3 days a week in when I had to go to the gym. I do this in my home with my wife or on the road per my schedule (morning or night - mostly mornings). Great results...

    Any P90X Users?

Beer is not preferred :nah: but you can drink it. I know it doesn't help me do any more push ups or pull ups. No doubt P90x is a lot of work but I think if you can make it through the 1st 3 weeks it's really something you can do. That 1st week is a killer. The real challenge is the time...

    Any P90X Users?

Dumbells, pull up bar, chair, small towel, and a workout sheet. That's about all we use. Don't have a yoga block, I use a 20lbs hex dumbell instead. I'd also recommend a mat or something. I use a big 5x7 rug but some non-skid padding under it. Have fun, it's tough but a blast. I start...

    Any P90X Users?

Did Yoga this morning and I can't say I love it but I like it because it's a challenge and the stretching always feels good. The 4th week is tough with the Core Syn. but it is good to get away from doing the pull ups. I think during Phase 2 is when I was able to do the Yoga a bit better.

    Any P90X Users?

I don't use a pre workout suppliment and I still get light headed on legs and back days. That workout takes a lot of effort from some major muscle groups and it's at a rapid pace. Love it.

If you eat the right things, you will not go hungry. Trust me, 2000 -2500 calories of good meats, veggies, and others stuff 5-6 times per day will be more than enough. If it's not they you must be a big ol Hoss. If that's the case then up your calories accordingly. 3000+.

    Any P90X Users?

It took me about 1/2 way through phase 3 unitl I didn't feel like throwing up after a couple of the workouts. Now Plyo isn't bad and I feel like I push really hard at times vs. just tyring to keep up. After 2.5 months.....I still get sore. Not near as bad but here and there I feel it.
