    Thanks for letting me know nation and report exist. Not sure how it is relevant. There are Hawkeye fans on various sites of other teams. What does that prove? A ton of Hawkeye fans flooded the New Mexico boards during Hairdo's reign there. Does that mean N.M. was a big rival?

    Just sifting thru the Wisky posts. I would say Wisky is a bigger rival. Especially with the perception of some fans that BB and ol' Bo stole some of our recruits.     You are right. I can't wrap my head around not wanting to go support your team when given a chance. I never complained about ISU not buying the tickets. I assumed once tickets were available to the general public, the ISU fans would have jumped at it and the game would have sold out that day...

    Actually, the fact is that in the end most of the tickets will be sold. The fact that Iowa has sold almost to capacity for its games actually does show and reflect support by the fanbase. And Iowa fans do travel well. Just the whole controversy about me asking why ISU fans weren't buying up...

    A geography lesson for you...the east coast states are not contiguous to Iowa. That is where Ferentz likes to recruit. Looks like about 23 on the roster are from contiguous states. Oh the irony of your post, since some fans wonder why Ferentz doesn't get more kids from Illinois.
