    He could go anywhere and there would be a lot of pressure to win the NC. At Iowa, not so much. Why do you think KF has never left? JOB SECURITY. The sheeple have low expectations. Plus it appears we could eventually provide decent paying jobs to his kids. :)

    Go ahead and tell yourself Iowa could compete in the Big XII if it makes you feel better. The BIG is terrible, Iowa is terrible. Iowa plays the worst of the worst so the schedule is terribly boring.

    Fran's antics and comments the last few months has really started to turn me off. Sideline rages, defending McCabe and basically saying in so many words the other guy got what he had coming, and 'suspending' Jok for a month in the SUMMER...pretty much lost all respect for him.

    Perhaps because the stupidity drew national attention and probably prompted fans from the visiting teams to check into buying tickets. Although with our lame home schedule, I doubt that the visitors will bring much of a following.

    And the fact he passes on the responsibility of his players' actions such as McCabe. That quote of his is embarrassing. Don't blame McCabe? Was he forced to have those people following him on twitter? If he was so upset with what they were saying, why didn't he remove them as friends/followers?

    Say what? Conference standings determine what bowl you go to. Non-conference games will play somewhat of a factor, but standings are the biggest factor.

    This is true. How do ISU fans know anything about how people feel about Wisky? And the bronzed pig is a very big deal for both Iowa and Minnie. But just because Minnie has been way down for quite a few years, it doesn't seem like the heated rivalry it has been. I am not completely disagreeing...
