    Don't disagree with the reasoning, or the other benefits working from home has. But playing devils advocate here, when people were working from home it was a pay increase. Just be careful using that as a reason to continue working from home.

    Yeah, the real question for me is would a plug in be better considering my commute, or just a fuel efficient hybrid? The plug in would be great for around town commute

    No, but he’s very front and center and draws attention to himself, so it’s easy to hear what he says without trying to hard.

    Part of the reason why we’re looking at plug in hybrids is that I’m going to have a 60 mile one way commute three days a week. So the battery would help for a little bit. Not sure if my new employer will have power stations. Outside of that, the battery will be sufficient for any errands we have...

    Agreed. Case in point, the Turmp tax cuts. Businesses were giving out small bonuses to their employees as a result of it. However, after that first year, did those bonuses continue as a result of the continued tax cut? Not from what I can tell.

    And really, they inherited this fortune. George Halas started the bears and was married to Virginia McCaskey. When George passed away, the McCaskey family inherited the franchise.

    I'm not an engineer, but I would think that starting from scratch can be cheaper than having to build around something else due to the obstacles you would encounter.

    The college football playoff rankings already don’t come out until several weeks into the season. But they’re still similar to the AP poll. They won’t admit it, but the AP poll anchors the opinions of the media and eventually the CFP committee members.

    Ultimately, would like to see a continuation of passing to set up our runs. Last game was good, but I still got the feeling that they still wanted to run first and pass second.

    Agreed. I remember there being a long waiting list to get seats. If that is still the case, and I was in the shoes of a season ticket holder losing my seat in the stadium, I would demand I be put on the top of that list.

    This is a good point. There are some great episodes, and then there are some bad ones. The reason I always thought this was the case is because it's made for children; and those bad episodes have children written all over them.

    So my wife and I are going to be looking at buying a vehicle. For those of you who have purchased recently, are there any advantages or disadvantages to getting a plug in hybrid vehicle? We aren't ready yet to do a full electric.

    Your right in that the incentive structure makes sense. But I just think in the longer term, were going to see more hybrid schedules as companies downsize commercial real estate.
