    I've never listened to Dave, but from what I've heard, he seems to be good from a first step financial advice standpoint; managing a budget and debt. Which is good, but it's not necessarily efficient wealth management as not all debt is bad.

    FSU could just be trying for the optics to get others to blink. Because if they haven't found a way now, they probably aren't going to. The only thing they could do is convince enough schools to dissolve the conference, so the GOR is void (per my simplistic understanding).

    This makes sense to me. Nothing is going to happen until the current media deals are close to being complete. So these discussions will probably pick up again in 4ish years to figure out what the next iteration of media deals looks like.

    Agreed. My parents live in Texas, and my wife's dad lives in California as a laborer (from what I understand, no real retirement). My wife's Mom is allowed nowhere near our future children or us.
