Officiating at the end of the Iowa game

Correct. But also, he’s over the blue line as well.

Officiating at the end of the Iowa game

sometimes even just the tip is enough to get you into a world of trouble.

Officiating at the end of the Iowa game

So this is strictly an observational assumption and nothing I have factual knowledge of, but with the early encroachment and then the penalty where they were simulating a snap, paired with how far off the ball they seemed to be playing, my guess is there was some kind of conversation with the...

Officiating at the end of the Iowa game

It’s the helmet that’s offside, not the hand like he claims in the video. Also, do people just not understand how viewpoint angles work?

Officiating at the end of the Iowa game

You said this so much that when I re-watched the game Sunday night, I was specifically looking for it and you’re just flat out wrong. MAYBE if you’re looking at the blue line and not the ball itself? But there was not egregious offsides all game long. In fact I would even argue overall that...

    Nebraska sux

Honestly, his quote posted earlier about being concerned about how college football is going and less focus on developing young men makes me feel even better (to note, as I’ve already said multiple times in this thread, I’ve never for a heartbeat thought he’d leave for Nebraska). While everyone...

    Can we talk about Ohio?

This is the correct answer, though I’d say all of Illinois and Wisconsin.

    Can we talk about Ohio?

I used to always call Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania Kentucky and Michigan (the mitten part, not the UP) Ohio valley region. They’re not really the east coast. They’re not really the south. They’re not really the Midwest. Rust belt could work too. Indiana is just Kentucky though, and western Ohio...

    Can we talk about Ohio?

Will doesn’t need a break, he needs a game where he can get 2 or 3 sacks to get that total moving again.

    Can we talk about Ohio?

Correct. I lived in Indiana for 8 years. Indiana is just Kentucky, and Kentucky isn’t the Midwest.

    Can we talk about Ohio?

I don’t give a **** what the census bureau says, you can’t be in the Midwest if you’re on eastern standard time.

How Riley Moss views Iowa fans

Riley Moss is the Hawkeye that played Billy in Stranger Things, right?

    Can we talk about Ohio?

I think you’re confusing Ohio with Iowa. Common misconception. But iowa is the only of the two that’s in the Midwest.

    Nebraska sux

Absolutely not. The worse Wisconsin Nebraska and Iowa are, the better off we are. Probably Minnesota and missouri as well. Campbell isn’t going to any of those schools, and the worse they are, the better chance we have at being the predominant power school in the region.

Fully agree. Interesting on Ohio State for Stoops, I didn’t resize he was from Ohio. He seems like an SEC/southern boy through and through to me (I know he went to iowa though). I fully agree, though because of that, I’d probably add Alabama to Stoop’s list.

    Nebraska sux

The fact that Campbell and Stoops are the highest off on the list tells you how delusional they are. Those are the two on there most likely not to leave their school. They’re both big culture guys that have not only built up their culture at their respective school, but bought in to the...

Officiating at the end of the Iowa game

I didn’t say Purdy was taller. I said he was bigger. 220 pounds is bigger than 206 pounds. Like, every normal person would say taller than in regards to height, not bigger than.

Nah, he’ll get a job with a Little 6 (whatever nonP5 schools are called) or an FCS school. There’s going to be some school that won’t be able to resist seeing him regularly ranked in the top 25 of top offenses in the nation.

Officiating at the end of the Iowa game

The offsides call and the late hit call were both not debateable. Easily the right call. The sideline one seems terrible. But also, I’ve yet to see any screenshots or clips of it, so I have no idea what actually happened. From the little you can see on the replay of the airing, it looks like...
