    I think Creighton and UNI fans can align on one issue. Our thuggery is nothing compared to that of SIU. They are in a league of their own. Also, we beat them at their own game, beating them 81-55 in Cedar Falls!

    Iowa Basketball - overpriced?

    That's mainly due to the winter games when we were still bad. Attendance for games like South Dakota State, Texas Southern etc were AWFUL. Attendance lately has been about 5,000 per game. Better, but still horrible considering our 11 game winning streak.

    UNI QB just went down...

    Yep, UNI still has astro turf. So it is literally turf on concrete. Which helps with UNI's speed, but it is killer on players. UNI is looking towards getting new Field Turf, but as of now we have no place to store it, considering the Dome is a big multi-purpose venue with trade shows...

    The greatest thing about the playoffs, is we have no arguments about who wins the national title. The team that wins all four games deserves the trophy. Hopefully this is the year for UNI. Maine is a good start!

    Chalk one up for non-Hawkeye UNI fans here. I don't hate Iowa, I just am very indifferent towards them. I do prefer when they are doing poorly though, then we Panther fans are spared the patronizing comments.

    This gets really old. UNI is Division I. Regardless of any teams division, what doesn't make sense about being a fan of a DII or DIII team? Should students at Wartburg, Coe, Luther, or Simpson not be die hard fans? Your entire post is just filled with ignorance.

    If we play anything like we did against a pathetic Denver squad you should have no problem. UNI has been plagued with injuries for the past two seasons, so if we could get some more guys (especially Egleseder) healthy it should be a great game, but as for now I would have to say home court...
