    i usually just stand in the middle of Fourth street between tent row and the Jacobson building and the tunnel will form with the band and cheerleaders. they stop the buses a few yards from the southern most tent (by the firetruck)

    i had heard that about Toby Keith's (fun and price). but i would agree with the Jimmy Buffet comment. i visited a friend of mine who works at the Palms and we both hung out at Buffet's on his day off. great place to sit.

    there are a bunch more deals on travelzoo.com for those that may be looking last minute to go out for the game. flights may not be the cheapest, but hotel prices are dropping and they include that weekend.

    New Uniforms

    Who is excited to see the new uniform's? This whole day is going to be great and end with an ISU victory. Rain is going to be south of I 80 afternoon and we should be in for a cool evening. PS. not to be a buzz kill, but the Troopers are supposed to be thick tonight after the game.

    you got it right Shadow. i went in 06 and sat in the Northeast corner of the stadium on the goal line about 6 rows up. i also remember how quiet it was until Chandler got lucky and caught the tipped ball by our linebacker:sad:

    sounds like a few of us, myself included need hooked on phonics. A friend of mine's grandson is playing football in Omaha and he played against Bates. Clear as mud?:wink: does that make more sense?

    I agree, best player at each position. i will throw in that i had an in depth conversation with a grand son of a good friend that played against him. He raved about his talent. That conversation was last year before he "answered the prayer" during the Iowa game.
