On of my neighbors has a UTV that he uses to clear his very small driveway. Seems a bit overkill. I had no clue that those things were so expensive.

    Electric Snow Blower

I think today would be a bad day to judge your new snowblower. My two stage was really struggling with this one. Almost like two layers of snow and my driveway is still a mess.

I don't own one but if I did, I think I'd keep the batteries indoors.

    Electric Snow Blower

I have an 18 year old Toro 2 stage. If I planned on living a long time in the snowbelt, I would get an electric one. I'm just hoping that it last another 6 years until I move somewhere warm. I change the oil every year, replaced the skid guards multiple times, and that bar that goes on the...

    Electric Snow Blower

My friend, who bought a Toro with 3 batteries, said it worked great. This was in Grimes and a pretty easy drive way but the snow was 7" and heavy

Drove from Johnston to downtown at 5:30 this morning. Not bad if you take it slow. I saw one car in the ditch and that was it. Not a lot of idiots, besides the person driving 20 mph in the far left lane with their hazards on. 7 inches in Johnston per WhoTV.

Random Thoughts 18: The Year of Fire

I don't track E15 prices but that seems really cheap. The last time I looked, it really didn't make financial sense for me to choose E15. Has something changed?

Random Thoughts 18: The Year of Fire

Speaking of smart speakers. I have these things all over the house and I swear they are no better than when I bought them 6 years ago. 1/2 of the smart displays in our house have turned into fancy looking clocks.

Random Thoughts 18: The Year of Fire

Put them in any size garage bag, tie the top, put a sticker on the bag, drive to the location, scan the sticker, which opens the door, throw in bag, done. At the site it took me less than 30 seconds. I don't think you can transfer any money until you have $15 credit. It takes about a week to...

Random Thoughts 18: The Year of Fire

Any people on the west side of Des Moines, I'd highly recommend using Droppett for can redemption. They have a drop-off at the Urbandale high school parking lot and it's super simple. I was so sick of having to feed the machines at hyvee. I think they have another drop-off on east Euclid as well.

    Raising Canes Sucks

Someone needs to put up a sign outside the raising canes in Johnston. It's been packed every time I've driven by for the last few months.

I'm the only person in the world who disliked Neuschwanstein. I thought the whole thing felt like I was visiting Branson.
