I see FSD just issued their new forecast and they have NW Iowa in an Ice Storm Warning. I Suspect DMX and OAX will do the same thing with most of West Central and Central Iowa when their forecast comes out... 20mph wind with some higher gusts too.. G-r-r-e-a-t. -

Amazing how 40 or 50 miles in Iowa and Nebraska is the difference betwee 2 feet of snow on the ground and not much at all. -

Most snow you have ever experienced
Back in the mid 1980's Sioux City had a 2 foot plus snowfall that drifted into 6 to 7 foot drifts (in the City). We got out of school for the entire week because it took so long to clear the streets. I think that snowpile at the end of the driveway took until June to melt... -

How early is too early?

Coaching Logistics
The elevator up to the Press box is reserved for coaches only within a few minutes of when they need to use it to get back and forth between the Locker room and the coach's spots in the press box. They still have to get through the crowds once out of the elevator. -
