    I was at the game and thought the crowd was really quiet and very uninspired. I thought part of it was a lack of a pep band and a few more cheerleaders. I thought we definitely played well today though (other than our 1st half shooting)

    I agree UFC is awesome once you understand it. A friend of mine got the Ortiz-Shamrock fight on PPV back in June, it was kinda disappointing though that it didn't last longer. But Ortiz is good and Shamrock is old, so it was to be expected.

    Should ISU have kept Berryman this season?

    Let's not forget that we also lost a good linebacker in Matt Roberson too. I think the combination of him and Berryman would have made a large difference for our defense. Not enough by any means, but maybe enough to win another game.

    Yeah, Homan grew up on a dairy farm in SW Iowa. His freshman year when he was ejected for coming off the bench when the fat kid from Colorado threatened Eustachy. Eustachy said Homan came off the bench like someone had stolen his cow. lol. One of the better LE quotes.

    Yeah, I read that USC's recruiting class this year is ranked second in the nation currently behind K-States. He always could recruit the best of them.

    If I recall way back in the day. Kirk Hinrich and Nick Collison were both signed for Tim Floyd, but when he left for the Bulls they decided to go to Kansas. It'd be nice to pick up a few of those Miami recruits in the same kind of fashion.
