    One hell of a game by our guys. That looked like a Final Four matchup. There is not a team that this team is going to fear going into March. Just need to get Tamin healthy and finish strong.

    Houston definitely brought their A game, and I think they kept expecting us to die but we just kept coming. A few less turnovers and maybe a stop here or there, and we could have had it. Props to Shead, he carried them the entire second half. Just a really, really good player.

    Good Lord, I need a nap. Our guys are every bit as tough as we thought they were. Hard to believe they fought their way to a close game while getting no calls at all. One hell of a half.

    Defense has been excellent. Their defense has been better. Need to find some ways to get open shots (that aren’t rushed).

    It's very physical, but the main difference in contact that I've seen is with the chest, and I really don't think that should be called.     Going to have to fight, bite, scratch and claw for everything tonight. Houston is TOUGH on their home floor, so they're not going to give it to us. We're going to have to take it. If we are sharp tonight, we are good enough to do that.

    Heard announcers talking about how a 2/3 really don't matter, as you will be playing each other anyway if the seeding holds, and so I don't really care (though I'd love to see ISU stay there so that we avoid a 1 as long as possible).

    It's just a huge opportunity for this team and this program. It still feels like people around the country are sleeping on them, but this will be one of the biggest games of the college basketball season, and these guys earned that spotlight. The best part is that we have nothing to lose here...
