Gabby Petito found dead in Wyoming

I get the thought process to an extent because they're your kids, and they mean everything to you. Also, people sometimes make really bad decisions in moments of extreme stress. However, I think they definitely bear the responsibility of that decision too.

That's my thought process. 1 really good transfer big man that can play the five, and Rock/Omaha can spell them, with Omaha spending some time at the 4 as well. That gives us the option of Watson at the 4, with Milan there at times too (I definitely hope Watson is back, he is just so solid on...

They've had a lot of time on their hands to watch actual relevant teams this year, so probably just overthought it

Especially when you realize that it would almost certainly end up as it did.

EA Sports NCAA College FB coming back Summer '24

Maybe it’s generational, but I’d rather pay for a full game than get the basic skeleton and then have to buy it into the full game. I’m sure it’s designed so you end up paying more.

Yeah, but if you're one of those coaches, is it really that much of a step up that you'd want to start over? Louisville has to be paying for the last two or three coaches, don't they? I'd have to think their current institutions would be in better shape and could match the offer too.

Would any of those names actually be interested in Louisville? That's a lateral move in 2024, and that program is a dumpster fire.

Knowing EA, you probably just have to pay for each player you add lol

I agree, but what's the remaining shelf life? He's 70, and doesn't impress me as the kind of guy who has been eating his veggies and going to the gym. Would you expect him to be the coach through a new freshman's graduation? Seems like he would just be getting started when recruiting started to...

It might be situational, but if you've got a pair of guys that can hold down the 5 spot, Lipsey/Gilbert/Jones/Milan is one hell of a tough lineup IMO, only struggling with someone with a really big post up 4.

Yeah, I think Lipsey/Gilbert/Jones are obvious starters at this point. Hopefully the freshmen can be used off the bench to spell all three. The way TJ subs, they can definitely get good minutes that way.

I don't know what other teams have coming in, but Milan has been out there as a 4 often enough, and most of the time when we have had him at the 3, we've been bigger than the teams that we play.

I keep forgetting about Fish. Situation is better than I thought! Fish/Watson at the 4 and Omaha/transfer at the 5?

You could be right, but I think his competitive ego might push him to want more than just be a celebrity side note. He could probably tear up the Champions Tour for a few years while keeping sharp enough to compete in the majors with some hope of making a splash somewhere.

Should Iowa Move On from Mad Fran?

Oh, he might be able to find a program that has been utterly futile that wants to be taken to average.

Just to add, I wonder if Watson beefs up just a little bit and becomes one of those guys. I still think of him as a guard, but he's a great rebounder that can guard any position. Might be a natural fit at the 4 going forward.

Just hoping he jumps on the Champions Tour as soon as he becomes eligible so he can ride a cart, and then maybe play in a major here or there. Might be a way to keep himself sharp and competitive enough to compete in the 4 majors.
