If you're talking to the OP, he never said Iowa wouldn't go to the Orange. He only said it was highly unlikely that ESPN had announced as much on 11/28, which I'm pretty sure is true.
Thanks for playing.
I would imagine any local TV station that picks it up would announce it pretty quickly. WOI would be the first logical choice, but since WOI is rarely logical it could be anywhere.
FYI -- Before I saw this thread, I started a thread on the possibility of the game being simulcast on one of the local DSM TV stations.

The NFL has a rule that all games must be carried on free, over-the-air TV in the participating teams' markets (as long as the game is sold out). Monday night games on ESPN are subject to the same rule.
Sure would be a lot easier for the people who can't do that--not to mention a lot cheaper for everybody--if a local TV station simulcast it.
For the record, I have DirecTV and NFL Network. I'm just looking out for my fellow Cyclone fans.
According to Wikipedia, last year's Insight Bowl between Kansas and Minnesota was simulcast on the local Fox affiliate in Kansas City and shown for free on Comcast cable in the Twin Cities.
Since Mediacom doesn't carry NFL Network, maybe we can count on one of the local stations in DSM to...
I didn't watch the video, so I don't know if there's something in there that would give you this idea, but what gives you this idea? As far as I'm aware, NFL Network just outbid ESPN for the rights to air the game.
Really? We led by five at halftime against both Northwestern and UNI, yet you knew we were going to lose by two and three points respectively? Well good for you, Carnac.
Doesn't look like it will be on 360. I figured it would be on ESPN360 since it's on ESPNU, but that doesn't appear to be the case.
Not sure about channelsurfing.net.
