    Soldier Salute?

Best thing for Iowa state would be if Iowa still lets that family into the room. I’m hopeful

Beating Glazier in OT is really impressive. Iowa fans have to be thrilled with adding a potential R16 guy to their room with the cancer he brings

    Shoutout Rocco Becht

I hope Rocco trains with Brock this offseason. I think it’d be great for Rocco to learn from Brock on footwork fundamentals, what he learned after leaving Iowa State, and take some of those lessons learned back to the staff

Still elite. Can’t wait to see how he grows this offseason and plays next year

Part of the reason he turned to go north to Ames instead of continuing to head east on I-80 is the recruiting job Dresser and Metcalf did with the Chittums not only after the Ferraris chose Iowa, but the relationships they build prior to that

2024s class actually looks pretty good with Sawyer Bartelt, Adrian Mesa, and Daniel Herrera. Would’ve been great to get Larkin, but he is an ASU legacy and his brother wrestles there. 2025 is off to a bit of a slower start than I was hoping, but as crab said, I trust the staff and they will...

    the Cluster f**k of 125

a consistent Kysen would be a national title contender this year at 125. He has that kind of talent, and 125 is that weak. Unfortunately I am not sure we will ever get a consistent Kysen

    Wrestling Rankings 23-24

Good news for AE is he will get a chance to improve his ranking against Oklahoma State (ranked 8th), Northern Iowa (9th), and Oklahoma (10th) before the big 12s. I don't disagree with his ranking at this point (if he had beat Happel, he'd be top 10 right now), but it is clear his ceiling is very...

2024 Big 12 Championships in Tulsa

@4everClone and I will be there (and have gone the last several years). The team almost always sets up a social at Albert G's Saturday night after the tournament. It is a great time and hope we get a good contingent of Cyclone fans down there to watch David's last Big 12s!

I like our chances at 141 in a rematch. Ech is going to keep getting better the more he wrestles, and he will (hopefully) continue to get more comfortable making weight at 141

125 might be the weakest weight class of all time, but it’s going to be damn fun to watch in March

Pretty wild that only guys at weights where they were ranked higher than ours got injured or dinged up earlier in the day
