    Besides Syracuse, the other teams we have lost to are ranked. The pre-Big XII schedule CJL has put together has been brutal. This team is young. They will improve this year. Next few years they could really be good.

    A lot of the time Horne back there reminded me of Blythe, seemed to be just back to make the fair catch. Did get the chance to return a couple against the Hawks. A few I no there hasn't been any room, but others I thought he could have taken off.

    Wally has been great for this program. Defense keeps improving game after game, year by year. Klein and Knott has really blossomed under his direction.

    They really played flat in the 2nd half. they did loose a couple key defensive players to injuries in the fourth quarter as well.

    Wonder if he has coached his last game at a major sized school. Not sure he will coach at a smaller school for the $ he would normally command but he may have to settle for what those schools are willing to pay.

    Having to come back out on the field to play the second half of this game is going to be really hard for both teams. the football game is an after thought at this moment. This young mans health is more important but sounds like he is going to be ok.

    Last play of the half only 2 seconds left. Couple of Tulane players collided helmet to helmet trying to make the tackle. Had been on the field quite some time. Looks to be really serious.

    Watching the Tulsa game today against Tulane and the way the announcers are taking up Tulsa and the game they had against Iowa State last week you would have thought they beat us. BTW Tulsa scores late in the first quarter to take a 14-3 lead.

    I would expect most if not all the CF "experts" to pick us to win as they are big ISU supporters and former Cyclone players.

    Nice sweep in the first match, but we sure have had a lot of matches that have gone the full 5 sets so far this year.
