    Is the Brewery era over?

    Out here in southern California, microbreweries are still doing really well, and I don't think that's going to change anytime soon. And craft beer bars are flourishing as well. In fact, I'll be visiting a couple tomorrow. With Uber/Lyft it's so easy to frequent a number of good beer spots.

    From the play-by-play, it looked like Harrington just ran out of steam in the second half of the match. He's got the talent to beat the best though. Glad the team got the monkey off their back.

    Certainly surprised by the Panthers and Bulldogs. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if the Panthers somehow end the season in the top 3 of the MVC. Happy for the Bulldogs. I don't think they've had a winning season since they made the tourney in 2008.

    This is embarrassing. However, I always have hope. Okie St started 0-6 in the B12 last year and finished 9-9. I’m not saying that will happen to ISU, but perhaps they’ll find their stride and rattle of some wins.

    I wonder if there is a “Let’s Pump the Brakes” thread on the UNC message board now that they lost at home to Wofford (and the Heels looked horrible the entire game).

    I will be definitely rooting for UNI to beat Xavier (at UNI) on Dec 22. A Panther victory would boost our resume.
