    I knew TJ was the man last year against TCU in Fort Worth. Just mesmerized that game with the in game coaching at that time. Not only that but you could watch Blount and Green were all over it too. This was TJ’s second best coached game at the helm with ISU.

    I actually thought before the tip, Iowa State would come out on top. I had the vibe we’d drop that one in Provo, Utah when the game came out on the schedule. I think we paste Kansas State next Tuesday. Question, that game on ESPN 2 anybody can confirm?

    They’ll still be upper echelon in our league. West Virginia’s Josh Eilart and Oklahoma State’s Mike Bontyon will struggle and be bottom feeders this year. This is make-or-break for Boynton, and surprised Pickens has given him this long of a lease on the program to be honest.

    Agree. He’s definitely not one of the coaches I particularly like. But he comes from the “old school” ranks, and is really a winner on the floor. Correct, he’s paid his penance. He’s one of those coaches that looks younger than what he really is. Without looking it up, he’s got to be pushing 70.

    Just calling a-club-a-club here, he was a coach that got caught doing recruiting violations. Many, many coaches have gone uncaught, I can assure you. Now recruiting violations with coaches is going to be unheard of and less scrutinized by the NCAA. Make no mistake, Kelvin is not my favorite...

    That Oklahoma loss was a sting and we had our opportunities in that one. Credit the Sooners. But I still think in the end, we’ll place better. This win erases that loss completely! Still a lot of play left. We’ll have our bad losses and great wins ahead. But love our effort thus far.
