    Favre has tried to get Moss twice before with the Packers. Looks like he hasn't given up. IMO, this probably gets done. It's just like the Pats to trade away a player they probably will not sign at the end of the year, and the Vikings are a team willing to pay the price to make Favre happy.

    They have both stated that setting their playoff rotations and staying healthy for the playoffs is more important than winning the division. Don't expect more than a pillow fight for the division.

    1) Why is that a question? Even at this point the decision has been a huge win for the Packers. If they would have kept Favre, maybe they would be at the same level they are now, but they would no longer have a QB waiting in the wings. Every year he plays at a pro bowl level from here on out...

    After losses you are correct, everything in between not even close. He uses them to push his agenda on what should be done with the team.

    No. They read it and see that Brett Favre thinks his way is the only way. That the Packers 'needed' Moss, even though they were one bad play on his OWN part from the Superbowl. They see that Favre is still that way to this day, even with the best RB in the league lining up behind him.
