We bag on KU, and their coaching staff, but I would take their coach right now in a second, whoever it is. I doubt the KU coach would lose a game up 7 with 1:30 left. With the ball. And KSU having one time out left. Seriously, read that again. Up 7, 1:30 left, you have the ball, 1st down... -

I respectfully disagree. The one fumble, sure that was on Warren. His second fumble, he NEVER should have touched the ball. Down the ball 3 times. I repeat NEVER should have touched the ball. The last fumble would not have occurred if we just downed the ball. Basically, downing the ball... -

I really can not believe what I just saw. Any coach, from 2nd grade flag football to the NFL, would simply kneel and let the clock run out. You say it won't run out completely? WHO CARES. They would have to go 80 yards in 10 seconds with no timeouts and score a touchdown. It made me so sick... -

Yep, no worries on the defense. Only gave up 684 yards tonight, down from the 776 they gave up to TTU. Only gave up scoring plays of 75, 74, 57, and and 55 yards. Oh, and we held the ball 7 minutes longer than they did in time of possession. That poor defense must have been totally gassed... -

This post is so spot on. If you have your cornerbacks 11 yards off the ball, all the receiver has to do is run 5 yards, stop, and wait for the ball. By the time the defender gets there, it is a minimum 8 yard gain. Throw in the fact that our secondary are HORRIBLE tacklers, and often a 5 yard... -

I will give you this.... some 2 and 3 star players can be very good football players. What matter more for recruiting, in my opinion, is who are the schools we are up against for those players? Are we beating out P5 conferences or mid-majors? So far this year, we have beat out 1 P5 conference... -

I would think Prohm would be a long shot. He just signed a contract extension 2 months ago. He also could have had the Alabama job, which is his alma mater, and he had little interest. He choose to stay at Murray. But you never know, now maybe he is thinking differently.- peachy

It took about 10 pages or so, but there are some excellent posts in this thread. First and foremost, it was just plain stupid for JP to offer the 10 year extension. You would think he would research the other state university to the east to see how that turned out. Unless CPR won the Big 12... -

TCU Over/Under 517 yards Saturday
OU had 480 yards of offense against us......at halftime. TCU beat OU, and averages 7 points more a game then OU. You can probably do the math from there. -
