    New low in the Campbell Era, and there have been some REAL low points. Some of the worst offensive line play I have ever seen, it made me nauseous watching that level of failure.

    That is some of the worst shooting you will ever see at the D1 level. Makes your eyes bleed. Our post players (Shoon, Ward, Jones, and Kunc) were 0-14 from the floor, and that does not count the 2-21 from 3%. Does anyone else find it strange other teams do not even bother guarding our point...

    Totally agree. He is an absolute offensive liability. Other teams don't even guard him from mid range (10-15 feet). He is a dreadful shooter, and teams know it. 4 vs 5 in our half court set.

    I have seen a lot of basketball in my lifetime, and this may be the worst shooting team I have ever seen. 8th grade girls shoot better than us. The one guy who can actually shoot the ball won't shoot it. The other guard shoots airballs and bounces shots off the side of the backboard.

    The announcer said it better than any of us could... ISU can not get out of its own way. We don't lose to these teams every week because they are better than we are. We lose because we find new ways to self destruct.

    When I saw that play, I literally laughed out loud at my TV! It was hysterical. This O Line is right on par with the 91-95 Cyclones teams. Jim Walden must be smiling right now. Triple option next offensive series, right?

    After another 30 yard FG miss, our kickers are 12 of 19 on the year. That is 63%. That is absolutely a joke, and one of many reasons we lose close games.

    You get one restaurant that’s closed in Ames to come back…

    I gotta throw in the old Garden Cafe downtown. They had great food, and fantastic pastries, especially the giant blueberry muffins. I am surprised it has not been mentioned yet. Ruttles was also amazing, as was the fish tacos at Magee's.

    2022 Concerts

    Being a kid of the 80's, taking the wife and some friends to Duran Duran in August. Outdoor August concert in Minneapolis, should be a lot of fun. Hoping they make the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next month, they definitely deserve to be in.
