    snowblower advice

    Hard to believe that I am thinking of a new snowblower... Any advice? Currently I am looking at single stages mainly a toro and a cub cadet. I know toro is the most popular, has anyone had good luck with cub cadet?

    Venues for a wedding/reception in the DM-Ames area

    We had our reception at Stoney Creek in Johnston, we had many out of town guests so they could just stay there. The food was great. I have heard otter creek does a nice job as well.

    When I travel to that area for business I drive 10 miles east and stay in Mason City at the Country Inn, close to dining of all kinds, and free breakfast!

    This is what I was planning to do. I see some say that it should be striped from mill residue, but my deck seems dry and fairly smooth.

    A few questions: 1. How long do you have to wait to stain a new deck? (11 months old) 2. Is oil or latex better? The deck is starting to dry out bad, it was treated wood to start. Thanks for the input!

    First time caller, long time listener - Advice Needed

    I live about 1 mile north of you and have similar issues, for the lot behind me is not developed as well so I did see a large amount of runoff. I put up a silt fence and that seemed to slow things down quite a bit and stop the silting. As far as the tile I would check with your insurance...
