    LSU Game Tickets

We are driving from Saint Louis to the game in Baton Rouge. Can anybody help us with information about potentially getting tickets with (or near) where the player's families might be sitting?

WBB: General Thread of Cyclones Women's Hoops 2021-2022 Season

The non-stars that I will be rooting for the hardest this coming season are Maddie Frederick and Izzi Zingaro. They just seem like two of the greatest people. I think I may have given up on the chances of Maddie being an all-conference selection, but my hopes will be with Izzi as she develops.

This Coming Season Vs. Next Season Vs. Down-The-Road

We are all excited about the incoming 2020 freshman class and expect good times in the coming years for WBB at Iowa State. Here are my thoughts... 2020-2021 I get a bit nervous about expecting too much from the freshman in their first year of play. But we have returning experience that is...

    ISU vs KST

I see that Maddie Frederick played. She hasn't dressed recently has she? Was she injured?

Jade Thurmon Plays 29 Minutes Against ND State

I have been rooting for Jade to do well because I think her speed and quickness can be a big asset to this team. I notice her minutes against ND State (2nd on the team to Ashley) and sense that Bill maybe has decided that Jade will be in the primary rotation. I think this is mostly a good sign.

    WBB: ISU at NDSU

I would love to see Rae's shooting become a consistent positive for this team...it would make a world of difference.

    WBB: ISU at NDSU

I thought that Jamie Steyer did an outstanding job.

WBB: ESPN's 2020 player rankings has ALL FOUR ISU verbals in top 100

I agree that it will be difficult to repeat as #2 in the conference behind Baylor, but I do have hope. We will need incoming Freshman Maggie McGraw to have a good year. Maybe even be the starting PG by Christmas. If not, maybe that means that Rae Johnson is stepping up her game. We really...

Let's Hope That Madison Wise and Ashley Joens Learned from Bridget Carleton...

the importance of hard work. I am excited about the future of WBB at ISU. Getting Ines back for another year is nice and the class of true and RS Freshman will inject some new talent. And I expect Adriana and Kristin Scott to have solid seasons next year. But I think the critical element...

BIG 12 WBB Tourney Pairings, Times, TV

There are three gals wearing Iowa State sweats hanging with the team. One sure looks like it could be Ashley's sister. Does anyone know who they are?

WBB: Carleton has a shot at being ISU's all-time leading scorer

Thanks for doing this mred. There are so many good things happening with the WBB team that I have almost lost interest in the men's team. Did not give men's Big 12 tournament a thought, are heading to Oklahoma City to watch the women play. We live 6 hours from Ames, so probably will not see...

We are driving over from St. Louis. Four of us starting on Saturday, also staying at the Brickyard Residence Inn.

Maggie McGraw - Will She be A PG at Iowa State?

I really like our chances of going deep in the NCAA tournament this year and hope next year will be similar. It seems to me that we will have three returning players that will form the core of the 2019-2020 team (at least from the stand point of returning minutes played and points scored)...

Driving to Watch the Team at Kansas Today

Kansas has a very good defense and about 3 players that looked pretty good on the offensive end of the court. I thought their inside players looked pretty bad for a Big 12 team. They have some wins against Power Conference teams, but none of them look all that great this year: @LSU (RPI 77)...

Driving to Watch the Team at Kansas Today

We live in St. Louis area, so don't get to see too many WBB games in person. We watch nearly every minute that they play on TV or Cyclones.TV though. Just figured out that we have not seen the team play since Chicago over Thanksgiving a few years back. Nice chance to see Allen Fieldhouse.

Twister Sister Summary - are the pacemakers working?

I agree, but let's give Nezerwa some credit. I would consider 5 points and 5 rebounds in 6 minutes as showing up in the stat line.

    WBB: Auburn vs ISU

Middleton's turnovers here at the beginning of the season are starting to concern me. I was expecting better ball protection and court awareness from somebody with her experience. Take this with a grain of salt...because from looking at their roster, I don't think that Alexa played much PG at...

    Roster Analysis

I know that we are all expecting a big improvement; but it was still very encouraging to perform a detailed comparison the 2017-2018 roster to this year's team. Usually, even when making year-to-year improvement as a team, there is at least one area that can be considered to be a step...

Twister Sister Preview: What to expect this year

A huge issue recently has been the lack of shooters in the line up. Over the past few years we have experienced several extended periods of time without scoring. Too many times we had one quarter where we were held to six points or less. This includes 2 (Baylor), 3 (Iowa), 4 (West Virginia)...

    Starting lineup/rotation discussion

I pretty much agree with the comments in this thread. My pick for a "nobody saw this coming" season is Adriana Camber. At times she shows athletic abilities that very few women players at Iowa State have ever demonstrated. She shows signs of becoming a very good 3-point shooter, let's hope...
