Considering the Air Force
Pilot slots are limited and therefore they will tend to use GPA as a selection criteria(not the only one, just one of). A 2.7 will likely move you down the merit order list. But like he said, it is always worth trying. -

I thought I remembered someone saying that scholarships are on a year to year basis and must be renewed by the coaching staff. If a player hasn't lived up to his end of it off the field and in the classroom I could see one not being renewed. I also wonder how they handle the scholarships given... -

Texas/ESPN and KU talking to the Big East
If the Big 12 gets in on the ESPN TV deal I could see them taking teams from the AQ conferences and having them play more week night games. Moving the smaller conference games off the main channel. There would be too many teams to play in the windows ESPN already seems to have filled up...- JHudd

Google TV Device for ESPN3?

Had those dropped balls been caught tonight you would not even need to make that post tonight. Just like #4 it is easy to focus on the one guy with the ball but there were plenty of others that didn't make the plays to change this game. It wasn't just a one guy deal tonight.
