    Kum & Gone

The guy I was quoting had lumped QT in with Casey's. They aren't even close.

    Kum & Gone

I prefer QT's fast food to Kwik Star. I think Kwik Star runs a more efficient store and has better grocery options. I'd shop at both if I lived in Des Moines, which I believe is the only market (Omaha?) with both. IMO the only difference with Des Moines QTs and the newer ones in Kansas City...

Not sure why QuikTrip is catching strays with Casey’s. I’d frequent them if we had them in NEIA.

It’s probably not better than Kwik Star

    Kum & Gone

Are there still Pump-n-Munches in Minneapolis? There used to be a few in Rochester 20ish years ago but I haven't seen one in decades. I still have the jingle seared into my brain.

*** Official #2 Houston vs IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

Am I the only one who doesn't think lack of students is a big deal? They suck most of the time anyway unless it's KU or Iowa.

    ISU legacy commits to KU

KSU is a bigger rival than KU. They just are. Only playing for Iowa would sting more than playing for KSU.

End of an era. Old Kum & Go merch is gonna sell like hot cakes.

We had a cheweenie and he'd just need enough of a path to get to the bushes in the winter. It was pretty slick. Hilarious to watch him try and navigate snow. Poor little bastard hated it.

    ISU legacy commits to KU

People forget that Big 12 coaches still make generational wealth. It's just a less than their Big 10 and SEC counterparts. The bottom half schools in those conferences are going to be in a really tough position in terms of being able to compete going forward, and a lot of guys are going to...

    ISU legacy commits to KU

I only saw one. ISU wanted him. I think Brent was hoping he'd pick ISU. I think he made it pretty clear early on that he wanted to pave his own way and that ISU wasn't in a great position, so if we put less resources in his recruitment, it was more because they believed it was futile.

    Cyclones in the XFL

I didn't watch a ton, but I remember catching a Seattle game and I didn't think they were on the same level as DC, Houston, or St Louis.

    Cyclones in the XFL

I think they're just done. None of them really drew crowds anyhow. They have the right markets to make it work.

It's St Louis, so I'm sure it's a good time.

    ISU legacy commits to KU

Him playing for KSU would be really hard to stomach, and I wouldn't be surprised if that played into his though process a tad.

There's some local tile lines that started running, but we have all sorts of creeks and farm ponds that dried up or were very close.

    ISU legacy commits to KU

That really sucks, but not unexpected at this point. EDIT: just read his letter and it's hard not to respect the choice. Reading in between the lines it sounded like he wanted to make his own way and stay close to home. At ISU he's always gonna be Brent's kid and I fully understand someone...

You must not have been as dry as us this summer and fall. I'd take 2' of snow for groundwater's sake.

    King Mclure alert

I honestly like him. He was really rough at first, but he’s really polished up, and his first hand Big 12 knowledge is heads and shoulders above most other color guys. Him having played all those years in the league gives him a more interesting, and realistic insight into the conference.
