    I am really encouraged. The team is ahead of where I expected them to be. They play hard and several different players have stepped up. they are going to continue to improve.

    yep you would hear it and did when kf was hired. they would have run bowlsby out of town on a rail if he wouldnt have hired alford. they were not happy (a lot of haweye fans, not all) about kf being hired. and jp isnt a cut and run kind of guy.

    don't know how many we will win next year, but i'm looking for the team to be a lot more physical and a heck of a lot tougher. (no disrespect intended to the team) i just think that was a comment made regarding tx was the mental toughness of the team greatly increasing.

    i like the idea of underpromise and over deliver. telling the public no predictions on wins, and telling the players 7 wins won't cut it. no talk, just knock the snotbubbles out of people.

    somebody who is familiar with recruiting texas, successful head coaching experience, someone who is ethical and is used to competing in recruiting with another instate school. a name nobody has been talking about... what about rc slocum?
