I have this old state of Iowa football schedules poster framed and hanging in my office. I always thought the ‘football as an ear of corn’ would make a good Farmageddon trophy - maybe in bronze. -

Iowa State Ranked, Texas/OU Not
I like the fact that it's three old Big 8 schools (and not named Nebraska or Oklahoma) that sit at the top of the conference unbeaten! Iowa State, Kansas State & Oklahoma State Also, all three are land grant schools. Very cool! -

I still think that the Trice Stripes at the front of the helmet should be there in place of the small I-State logo or "Cyclones" lettering. And, I still like the Trice Stripes leading into a stripe all the way back on the helmet. -

Save it for our game versus Iowa next season! On a more serious note, wouldn't it be cool if we broke out some gold for the first time on this Saturday's game on national tv playing a team with red/black colors? -

YES! That's what I was talking about! Thanks for mocking it up. I think it might even look better with cardinal & gold stripes leading back from the Trice Stripes. And, perhaps it would look better having the Trice Stripes be there in place of the I-State logo at the front of the helmet.
